The Sioux Charley Lake Trailhead is located in the Custer Gallatin National Forest near Nye, Montana. It is south of Interstate 90 between Billings and Bozeman and within proximity to Yellowstone National Park and the Beartooth Highway.
FROM BILLINGS OR BOZEMAN
Take exit 408 off Interstate 90 onto Montana 78,
Travel about a mile and turn right onto Pike Avenue in the town of Columbus,
Take the next left onto Pratten Street where you will soon cross a river,
Travel 17-miles and turn right onto Nye Road. This is just past the Six Shooter Bar & Grill and Wild Flower Kitchen restaurant,
